Teacher learning communities take place on the second Monday of every half term. It is an exciting opportunity for teachers to come together with their fellow year group partners from across the whole federation.
A teacher learning community aims to share practice, explore new theory and create short term action plans. This works on a 5 part format and is best served by a minimum of 75minutes each half term. A different member of the TLC will be responsible for chairing each session. This is an opportunity to peer led CPD as we can learn the most effective practice from each other.
The focus for the new learning within each session is chosen by the teachers themselves. The EEF teacher toolkit has proven to be a useful research tool that underpins many of these sessions.

Subject Leader Forums
Every half term the subject leaders from across the Federation come together to share best practice. This is an opportunity to discuss new projects and embed current systems.
Subject leaders will have the opportunity to reflect on the monitoring and assessment processes in place and discuss the impact on teaching and learning in their subject area.
This is an exciting opportunity for all leaders to both innovate and enhance practice in the area they are passionate about.
All subject leaders leading core areas of the curriulum will come together each half term.

INSET and Induction
We offer induction training to all staff who are new to Primary Advantage. This is to induct them into our core approaches to teaching and learning.
We give priority on these courses to teachers within the Federation, however we also welcome teachers from Hackney and beyond to join the sessions.
